Class of 2022 - Bryn Varanelli

Bryn,

It has been a pleasure watching you blossom on the softball field and in life. From the early days as a 5 year old when your helmet was too big for your head, to recent times winning championships with your Inferno family. You are a shining star in our eyes. We love you and can't wait to see the great things you do!

Love Mom & Dad

Dear Bryn -

What an honor it has been to coach you for the last 8 years. You joined our team at 10 years old and have been with us ever sense. Your Dad flew you home for tryouts.....then when I told him it was down to you and one other girl for a spot on my team he told me he would fly you back a second time for another tryout. I thought to myself that is all I needed to hear...and the rest is history. What a journey it has been. Watching your growth on the softball field has been incredibly rewarding (I'll never forget your smile when you were rounding second base and how excited your teammates were for you when you hit your first home run), but watching you grow into an unbelievably strong, smart, funny, confident young woman has also been equally as rewarding. Your competitive spirit combined with your loyalty and genuine love for your teammates (and coaches) is something that I will never forget. One of the things I prided our team on was that family atmosphere/culture and you and your family will always be FAMILY! I just want you to know how proud I am of you 18!! Best of luck at UVA!

Love Coach Sean

Bryn,

You are the strongest and most determined girl I know. You have had some things to deal with and you have come out on top. It may shake you for a moment but you always get your bearings and find your way. You are a leader at heart and I've seen that recently. I hope this time stays with you as you start the next chapter of your life. Keep that amazing sense of humor along the way.

Love, Coach Ash

Brynnie!!!

Where do I even begin! It has been an honor to be your coach. I have loved watching you grow into an amazing softball player and an incredible young woman. When I hear the song “You’ve Got a Friend in Me”, I always think of you. You have been a true friend to everyone on the team. You welcomed new players with open arms and immediately became friends. Often times, you were the glue that held our team together. You brought so much joy and laughter to our team and that will be greatly missed. I will miss your jokes, our outfield pep talks, your smile and encouragement, and celebrating “holidays” with you! You are one of the strongest people I know! You have battled through so many injuries over the years and kept a great attitude through it all! Thank you for your dedication to Inferno all these years. It has been an absolute JOY to be your travel coach from start to finish. You and your family will always hold a special place in my heart! Best of luck at UVA next year!

Love You!
