Continuing their hot streak from Rehoboth Beach DE, the Loudoun Inferno 10u team went 3-0-1 in the VA Stingrays Classic, notching their second tournament victory this Spring.

Keeping the bats hot, Loudoun Inferno 10u collected 31 hits across all 4 games. In addition, the Loudoun Inferno 10u pitchers threw 33 strikeouts.

Over the course of the weekend, Loudoun Inferno 10u scored 33 runs while only giving up 8.

The VA Stingrays tournament selects MVPs during each pool play game and for Loudoun Inferno 10u, the following players were identified by the opposing coaching staff for their excellent play:
– Lydia Mena vs Team Virginia Torres/Nystrom 10u went 2-2 with a triple and 4 RBIs
– Norah Cameron vs Winchester Crusaders – Spencer pitched 3 innings, accumulating 9 strikeouts and 3 walks.

Loudoun Inferno 10u will take a much deserved break, with their next double header on Mother’s Day (5/10) followed by the Summer Jam “Super Regional” NIT the weekend of May 16 – 17.
