This past weekend, Inferno Moore 12U brought the fire and battled their way to a Runner-Up finish in a competitive Crushers Smackdown Tournament β and did it with grit, growth, and some serious production across all phases of the game.
At the plate, the girls came ready to swing it β finishing the weekend with a .320 team average, 31 hits, and 30 runs scored. When the bats got rolling, they were tough to slow down.
π₯ McKenna Foley led the charge with a dominant weekend, hitting .636 with 7 hits and 2 triples, consistently putting pressure on defenses.
π₯ Harper Mills delivered in a big way, going .545 with 6 hits, 2 triples, and 7 runs scored, proving to be a difference-maker every time she stepped in the box.
π₯ Maydhini Rajeshkumar set the tone on the bases and at the plate, hitting .417 while swiping 12 bags (92%), creating chaos every time she got on.
π₯ Contributions up and down the lineup from Cam, Shelby, Harlie, and Isabelle kept innings alive and momentum rolling.
On the basepaths, Inferno stayed aggressive and effective β going 31 for 36 in stolen bases (86%), constantly applying pressure and forcing defenses to make plays.
In the circle, the pitching staff combined for 42 strikeouts over 23 innings, with Harper leading the way and setting the tone with her ability to command hitters and keep us in every game. The staff competed all weekend and continued to show growth against strong competition.
Defensively, the girls saw a high volume of action across the field and showed flashes of strong playmaking, while also identifying areas we know we can clean up as we continue to develop.
