Loudoun Inferno 16U - Underhill

The 16U Inferno-Underhill softball team strives to provide young female athletes with the coaching, leadership, resources, and positive environment to become successful young ladies on and off the field. Practices are physically and mentally challenging and seek to develop solid mechanics, teamwork, and game intelligence they can rely upon in times of adversity. There is a focus on positive energy and accountability to themselves and their team. Additionally, the girls are required to maintain good grades to actively participate.

The team competes at the 16/18U A/Open level regionally and participates in a number of college showcases during the fall and spring/summer seasons, as many of the players desire to play at the collegiate level. Outside of normal practices, the team works with a Junior Olympic track coach, and utilizes Blast Motion, BASIQs, Hit Trax, and game videography to provide coaches with actionable data.
