Congrats to Loudoun Inferno 9U – Noerr with their Bronze bracket Championship win at the Top Gun Winter World Series tournament in Red Oak, NC. Since players do not age up until January 1 in Top Gun, Loudoun Inferno 9U went into the 10U Open tournament sanctioned as an 8U team. By design on Saturday, they faced teams currently playing 11U in our area who are turning 12 as soon as this coming January 1. The team held strong, but fell into the bronze bracket after the 2 tough pool play games against highly competitive older teams. In bracket play, strong pitching, solid hitting, and amazing base running got these girls to the championship where they fought hard to come out on top!

This wraps up a successful Fall for the 9U team. Our team strived to find the hardest 10U competition this Fall and finished with a winning record. The coaches couldn’t be more proud of these strong players – always leveling up and proving to themselves that they can do hard things! The girls are looking forward to winter sports, rest, hot cocoa and holidays before coming back to winter workouts so they can compete even stronger this Spring.

Go Inferno!
