Congratulations, 8U Noerr – USSSA Dick’s Sporting Goods Summer Sizzler Champions!
Congratulations to Inferno 8U – Noerr, winners of the Dick’s Sporting Goods Summer Sizzler tournament in Howard County, MD. The team showed up strong in pool play, winning both games by slaughter rule and securing a first seed going into bracket play. The team continued their streak – winning by slaughter rule in the semi-finals. After falling behind in the championship game, the team fought back to secure the victory. Congrats to our home run hitters this tournament: Kylie Powell, Teigan Bilock, Penny Noerr, Emily Dufour.
Inferno 8U – Noerr completed 3 USSSA tournaments this summer, reaching the championship game in all and securing the title in 2. The team currently stands #1 in Virginia for point and power ranks in USSSA Rec/All-Stars. Nationally – #4 for points and #2 for power. The team is looking forward to a strong 2021-2022 season with 8 returning players and 2 strong additions.
