After a slow start offensively on Saturday, the bats came alive on Sunday to propel Loudoun Inferno 14U Wiechmann to be the USSSA 14U Open Virginia State Champions! With the full team back after high school season, the girls picked up where they left off in the fall rallying around strong pitching and quality defense to drop only one game en route to the final. The championship game brought sweet revenge as the team scored four runs in the ITB inning to avenge its only loss. Way to fight hard all weekend and Let’s Go Inferno!
